Quality time with Granddaddy

Caleb and I spent the afternoon with Granddaddy Pearce this week. Nana was working, so Caleb got in some much needed granddaddy time, or should I say my Dad got some Caleb time :) Either way, they both enjoyed each others' company. It has been really nice living only 30 minutes away from both sets of grandparents. We are truly blessed to have family so close by.

After Caleb's nap, Granddaddy fed him some rice cereal.

"More please, granddaddy."

"Hmm...you are pretty good at this. You must have done this before."

After lunch, granddaddy played with Caleb on the floor. In the left bottom corner of the picture you can tell that he's eying a particular rattle that has interestingly been placed out of his reach.

 "Hard work...must...rest..."

Ok, one more try....

"Gotcha!"

My dad sure can get him to smile.
