Last Saturday, Steven and Lauren invited us to go to the State Fair with them. We thought it was a great idea to get out and have a double date! Nana and Granddaddy offered to keep the boys, but we decided to take Jacob while Caleb played with them because Jacob's still not interested in the bottle. He did great and slept almost the whole time!
There were swarms of people. More than I remember in previous years.
My favorite part of the fair is the food. My only real "must have" was the corn. It was so delicious. I love it when they hand it to you and butter drips down your hand. YUM.
My sweet husband sampling some fudge. He's all about the sweet stuff.
As you can see, Jacob was so excited about all of the fair food and festivities :) He's got one thing on his mind. This little boy can sleep in his car seat for long periods of time...I had to wake him to eat!
Speaking of eating, back to the yummy fair food. Here are the famous turkey legs Lauren was excited about.
Sampling their turkey leg together.
Sisters!
Steven was all about the chocolate covered cheesecake. He actually let me sample it, so I guess the idea that "my sister has germs" has finally worn off :)
Lauren and I dressed up as bananas. The pictures were free, so why not right?
I love this!
Jacob and his new furry friend.
The newlyweds!
We had such a fun date!
