Fall Festivals

This past Saturday, we headed over to Nana and Granddaddy's church for their annual Party on the Block. I remember attending this as a teenager, so it brought back a lot of fun memories. Now my children can have the same ones!
This was also an outreach event, so the community was invited. Caleb had a lot of fun and enjoyed playing the all the games. It was such an enjoyable night!

Getting ready to go to his first Party on the Block! Isn't this the cutest horse you ever did see?

Daddy's little financial advisor

Nana and Granddaddy were in charge of the drink toss. Apparently their game was so popular that they didn't get a break until the end, but they had fun!

Nana showing Caleb how do throw the rings.

Ok, so he wasn't great at throwing the rings on the can, but when your own grandmother is in charge of the rules, they can be bent in your favor. He gently placed the ring on the drink and won a drink for Daddy!

 Ping pong toss

 Making a basket

He wasn't sure what all the fuss over the candy was. He preffered the toys instead.

 Playing the bean bag toss.

Treasure hunt game (the treasure was the candy, but again, he was less interested in the candy and more in playing with the shovel).

After the games, the tykwondo team performed. He loved to clap along!

Quick picture during all the fun!

Little Jacob's first festival!

Team Moseley

The next day, we headed over to Mimi and Granddady's church. Jacob dressed up as Granddaddy Moseley - same look, more fitting title.

This was really the only game he would play, he was such a sleepy boy. But he loved the ducks! David and I had fun winning a cake during the cake walk. He won one of his favorite treats - pound cake!

On the hayride having a lolypop with Mimi and Aunt Anna.

I thought their trunk or treat was pretty neat. They all decorate their trunks for the occasion!

 Looking at baby Moses.

 Getting some candy!

Aunt Anna's costume. Love it!
