On January 23rd (the day Jacob turned 5 months old), we dedicated him to the Lord together with our church and family. We did it in hope and in prayer that he would one day belong wholly to God forever and vowed that we would strive to bring him up "in the discipline and instruction of the Lord".
We actually had a total of 14 babies being dedicated in our small church.
It was during Jacob's naptime and he actually fell asleep towards the end of the dedication.
This was during the prayer for all the little ones and their families. This was such a special Sunday to share with our friends and family in the joy of his life and to publicly pledge our commitment to build the Word of God and the character of Christ into his life. We are so thankful for this oppurtunity to love him in this way.
After church, we headed to Mimi's Cafe for lunch. Caleb was so hungry he decided to try a lemon while we waited for our food. He suprisingly enjoyed it!
Baby bear was apparently thirsty. I guess this is a good start on sharing....
Thank you Grandparents for your loving support!

After lunch the boys were pooped. Neither one of them made it home before falling asleep in the car.
