Jacob turns 7 months old

Jacob turned 7 months old a little over a week ago. Boy do I love this little one!

 Jacob is still pretty easy going and will sit up and play by himself or with big brother for a good while. Most of the time when Caleb's playing him, he's either smiling, about to smile, or is just plain laughing. Car rides are so much fun!

So far, he hasn't tried to pull himself with his arms or gotten up on all fours yet, but will roll over both ways and can scoot backwards by kicking his legs. He is still waving some and will frequently make all sorts of noises with his mouth.

He'll grab anything around him, so I have to be extra careful these days. He enjoys anything that plays music or lights up, just like Caleb does. Jacob is still enjoying his jumper and just loves to be tickled and thrown into the air by Daddy.

He's still sleeping very well. He's taking one morning nap and one afternoon nap and is sleeping 11 - 12 hours at night.

Here he is enjoying some peaches for lunch. One definite observation for this month: this boy enjoys to eat. Sometimes he gets so excited when he sees solids coming that he can barely hold in his excitement. His favorites right now are peaches, applesauce, squash, oatmeal, barley cereal, and puffs. He can down some puffs in a hurry.

You might notice he's receieved a hair cut - and it's his second one already!
