Here are a few observations to remember now that our boy is one!
Mr. Bunny never actually sat down for more than a second next to Jacob. He threw him around for a least 10 minutes.
Here are his stats:
Weight = 21 lbs. (21%)
Height = 29.5 in. (40%)
Head Circ = 44.7 cm. (10%)

He really enjoys trucks, balls, and anything electronic. Just recently, he's gotten interested in puzzles and tries so hard to fit the pieces in the right spot. As far as his vocabulary, he's saying ball, uh uuhhh (uh oh), Mama, Da-da and bye. He will mimic inflections and will occasionally try to repeat the last word in a sentence that he hears.
Last week he was sick with a stomach bug, but now that he's feeling better he is back to eating well. His favorite foods now are cinnamon toast, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, sweet potato fries, crackers, cheese and chicken. He's off the bottle and does great with his sippy cup!
He's still sleeping really well. As of a few weeks ago, he's been sleeping more than 12 hours at night and sleeps in pretty late most mornings. He's a sleeping machine!
He is still crawling, but walks a lot more now! I've noticed he'll walk more in the evenings and is quite proud of himself when he does.
He can't resist a faucet. Toilets and sinks peak his interest.
He's definitly understanding the word "no". Most of the time he has been obedient, but he likes to touch an off limits area while looking for us to see if we're nearby. It's only beginning I'm sure!
For the most part the boys play well together. Jacob does like to pull brother's hair and can push Caleb's buttons in the car (i.e. he'll play with Caleb's arm and put his foot up on his shoulder/against his face).
Separation anxiety is hitting its peak about now. He cries when I leave him in the nursery and wants to be held. I'm just thankful he is consolable without me even if it takes a little while.
