We celebrated Luke's first birthday at home with both sets of Grandparents. We all had dinner together and of course, celebrated with some cake and ice cream.
I tried out a different frosting recipe that didn't call for Crisco, and I actually think it turned out well.
At first he was NOT interested. He would touch it, but did not want to put it in his mouth.
Finally, after a while he decided it woudn't kill him to try a piece.
Yay! He actually got his face and hands dirty. Win!
