Jacob turns 11 months old

Mr. Rabbit's got nothin on Jacob. He's a big boy!

As of now he's got 3 top teeth and two bottom teeth. Its been helpful to have those teeth on top and he's now eating only table food and a bottle. He is more adventerous with food and his favorites this month are blueberries, bananas, pasta dishes, bread, cheerios, and of course crackers. He's also doing really well with his straw sippy cup!

Still on the move! Jacob is cruising some while holding on to furniture and can stand about 5 seconds without holding on. He's very fast in the crawling position. His favorite room to investigate at the moment is the bathroom and he's fasinated with the toilet. Sometime's he'll pout if the door is closed.

He's been sleeping great now that we are back to normalcy after vacationing. He fought sleep during our vacation some and it didn't help that he was teething. He's back to doing super at nap time and is still sleeping 10 - 12 hours at night.

Here he is performing his new skill: giving kisses. He knows just what to do when we ask him to. This melts my heart.

He has offically said his first words other than Mama, Dada etc. He can say dogie ("dodie") and ball. He's also started picking up a toy and dropping it and then precedes with "uh uuhhhh" for "uh oh" He still loves to play peekaboo and has a blast hiding under the kitchen table with big brother.  He's waving, clapping, and started "singing" with us when we sing at bedtime. 

He has really enjoyed playing in the water during bathtime lately. This child LOVES his bath!
