Good peer pressure

A couple of weeks ago all three boys and I headed over to Bump n Bounce to have some fun before Caleb tracked back in. Luke took a nap the whole time and both boys had a blast. One thing, though, was special about how it all went down.

The boys played safe for a while on the playground part and slid down numerous times. A little later I knew my dare devil Caleb would want to head over to the big bouncy houses and my not-so-sure-I-wanna-risk-it Jacob was not as excited to.

But Caleb and I talked him into it and he traveled up and slid down the steep slide! I was proud he was being so brave!

"Mama, that was actually fun!"

"I knew he would like it if he gave it a chance!"

Of course, Caleb sees the biggest one of all with the steepest slide (you can even tell they have an employee one this one to make sure kids make it up safe) and wants to try it. Jacob hesitantly waits in line. When its his turn, he looks back at me, then the little, pretty girl with long hair (he prizes long hair!) right behind him smiling, and he goes for it! I really do think this girl had some bearing on his decision to try it. Once he made it to the top, the girl tells him its OK and she will go ahead of him so he wouldn't have to be scared. He then follows behind her and conquers his fear! These two stuck together for a while and and I thought it was sweet. He must of went up and down this one 5 times.Way to go Jacob!
