Luke at 9 months

Luke is officially 3/4 of the way to turning one! Crazy town.

It's still pretty easy to get him to smile. Right now he's really into watching me blow bubbles with my gum and its sure to get a smile every.single.time.

He's still crawling a ton and is pretty fast. For the most part, he's pretty obedient right now. He's learning the word "no" and can tell when I don't want him to touch something by how I say his name. When he hears "Luuuuuukkkke", he looks right at me and usually stops.

This is how he likes to roll these days. He's currently getting in two new top teeth, so his tongue is constantly out and likes to check on those pearly whites.

And now this is happening. His crib looks like a little beaver is going to town on the wood. There are teeth marks everywhere!

Feeding: Not going well. *Sigh* Last month he was eating like a rock star, but this month we're back to having difficulty getting him to eat. He's eating about 1/3 of the amount of solids he did last month. We've also noticed if he seems disinterested in eating from David and I, he will eat a few more bites when Caleb tries. We're not sure if his disinterest is related to teething, or that we've introduced puffs and maybe he's more into feeding himself. We've tried many small finger foods, but he either spits them all out or he chokes.

He's clapping a lot during the day. He'll even clap when its time for him to get out of the car seat or when he sees me. I feel like a movie star.

He's also added a new word to his vocab: "Mama"! And I LOVE it.

Standing is his favorite skill these days! He can even stand a couple of seconds on his own without holding on to anything.

 He's so proud of himself!

The boys take such good care of this little guy. They watch out to make sure he's safe and they genuinely love playing with him. This was such a sweet site to walk into the room and see this.
