Cookie Exchange

Every other month, the ladies in my community group get together to fellowship and this month's get together was, of course, all about Christmas. This month was hosted by my sweet friend Martha, who decided to have a cookie exchange. We each brought 3 dozen cookies, either made or bought, and exchanged them with each other so that we left with 3 dozen of each others cookies to keep and give away as gifts. Neat idea!

A couple of the laides - Kristen, Martha, and Alicia.

Look at all those cookies. I sampled every kind of cookie and they were all delicious!

Here's what I made - Holiday Snowmen. The nose was supposed to be a mini gumdrop, but I couldn't find any, so I used Mike and Ike candies instead. David was such the sweet husband to help - we make a great team :)

I also made Christmas trees with my cookie press.

I ended up giving alot away to our next door neighbor for a Christmas gift. And of course, the rest David can help me finish off. Now this is a project he doesn't mind me spending time on. I'm sure he would venture to say that there can never be enough cookies.
