New discoveries

Caleb's vocabulary has really taken off this month and really this week. All of a sudden he's talking, walking, pointing and working on getting his molars in all at the same time. Busy boy I'd say. Here are the words he can say now:

Dada /Daddy
Mama
Nana (for my Mom and banana)
Mimi (just started saying this)
Anna
Baby
Hey (He has said "hey Anna" and "hey Dada")
Night night
Juice
ees (please)

The last four really all occured this week. Last night he looked over at David while he was changing his diaper and said "Hey Dada" and he'll wave sometimes as he says "hey". Also last night he looked over at his sippy cup, pointed and said "juice". He will point at the food he wants or certain toys he want to play with. He has also really enjoyed throwing/rolling his ball back and forth to David and I.This is such a fun stage!

His walking has gotten pretty good, but he's still walking on his tiptoes. I'm sure he'll learn to walk flat footed, but he's happy with his toes right now :) He's had a cold for a little while now, along with cutting his molars and now has an ear infection. But he's being a troooper!

Lately, he has enjoyed  playing peekaboo. He usually covers up half of his face with his blanket but leaves his eyes uncovered. It's really cute to watch him wait on us saying "there he is!" but he can see you the whole time! Here he is playing peekaboo in the car on the way back from our trip to Alabama with a book. More to come soon on that trip!
