White Deer Park

On Thursday we decided to head to a nearby park in Garner that a friend recommended. David was studying that afternoon, so we decided to get out and have some fun - sorry Daddy! We walked along the trail for a while and checked out both playgrounds they had. They have a natural playground for younger children  with a huge sandbox. Next time we'll have to bring our pale and shovel. And the second one (below) we found out quickly was for bigger kids, but Caleb still enjoyed watching the other kids play. He did find one thing he was interested in though. A little boy came over to show him how to turn the wheel on this toy and Caleb just watched in amazement.

I'm not sure he liked the mulch on his hand, but he seemed to tolerate it.

Just slid down the slide! OK not really. I may have placed him on the bottom of the slide and had him pose for a picture. Still cute nonetheless.

He's started to point at things that interest him a lot. He likes to point and have me point back and touch his finger with mine. Its adorable.

Mama and the boy had fun but we missed Daddy. Daddy always makes outings more fun (and anything for that matter!)
