Just thought I would give you all a picture of Caleb at this stage in life.
- He's cutting 6 more teeth just after getting in 2 bottom molars, but handling it quite well.
- Separation anxiety hit a couple of weeks ago, which makes for a hard nursery transition.
Each week he seems to be settling down quicker, so hopefully this wont last too much longer.
It breaks my heart when he looks at me as if I'm deserting him, but this too shall pass.
- His vocabulary is doing really well. Some of the more frequent words he's said lately are
"toa" for toast, "ta tu" for thank you, Nani (for banana and my mom which used to be Nana),
hiding (he has a toy that says this), ham, cheese, and home.
-He's usually very quite during the blessing at the table and holds out his hands to hold mine
along with bowing his head before he eats.
- He's starting making a grunting noise if he really likes what I've prepared.
- One of his new favorite toys is his shapes sorter. He's gotten coordinated enough to fit the shapes
in the appropriate hole and loves to do it over and over. When he does it correctly, I'll give the
shape back to him and he'll usually say "ta tu" almost every time.

- He is obsessed with electronics. Alarm clocks, security systems, cameras, elevator buttons,
and of course phones. We found an old flip phone and its charger, so now Caleb has his own
cell phone to carry. He loves this thing.
One afternoon he came and ushered me over to our room where I usually charge the phone.
He showed me that he placed the phone on the charger like Mama does.
When its time for his nap, I'll tell him that his phone needs to go night night too, so he'll
go back in our room and place it on the charger.
When he has his phone, he couldn't be happier.
My personal favorite.
