Day 2 is a totally different day. We upgraded to a private, regular room out of the ICU. We were able to change his position without intense pain and he started smiling A TON. He seemed to be feeling more like himself and that helped all of us feel so much better about things.
Sweet moment with Granddaddy.
Nana held him and rocked him for a long while since we needed a nap... big time. We were pretty delirious and were barely functioning on so little sleep the past few days. After an hour nap, we felt like humans again.
Mimi and Granddaddy came to visit with the boys.
How much this warms my heart!
Yesterday was a really good day for him. He took Oxycodone and Tylenol instead of Morphine and his pain seemed to be less intense. He started eating a little better, but still not great, so please be in prayer for that specifically. He also developed a rash on his face that we are not sure what caused it, but we're not too alarmed. Last night he also had a low grade fever but that has come down to normal as well. We have a lot to be thankful for and we have truly seen God at work, healing his body and bringing our sweet, happy baby back to us.
