Walk down memory lane

Today, I heard something that was music to my ears during Luke's helmet appointment: "Your son has been DISCHARGED!" We are blessed to say that Luke no longer needs to wear a helmet. His head has shaped so well and he made excellent progress!

Adios, buh bye!

I still remember his surgery day like it was yesterday...
Here is the cute little guy right before surgery.

And here we are with him before they took him away.

This was one of the hardest sights I've ever seen. You would think being a nurse would have prepared me more for this, but all that went out the window when it was my sweet baby lying there.

God brought us through a blood transfusion with NO complications and provided a way for his Daddy to donate blood beforehand. He quickly answered prayers when Luke couldn't void after surgery and within one hour, he did. God answered our prayers yet again when we noticed a hematoma on the left side of his head. It vanished right before our eyes.

We felt so loved by all of our family and friends.

I will never forget this moment as long as I live!

We are so amazed at the before and after, we wanted to share them with you:
